Chiropractic care that gets you back to moving like yourself.

Hands-on adjustments, soft tissue work, and rehab — combined into one personalized plan to reduce pain, restore joint function, and keep you active.

What it is

Chiropractic care, in plain language.

Chiropractic care is a health care profession that uses a hands-on approach to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mechanical disorders of the spine and extremities. The word “chiropractic” means “to be done by hand,” and chiropractors use their hands or other adjusting tools to restore joint mobility and support proper function of the nervous system.

At Integrated Provider Group of Minnesota (IPGMN), chiropractic care is designed to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support long-term function. It is often part of a broader care plan that may include hands-on treatment, movement-based therapy, and supportive modalities.

What Your Care May Include

A care plan, not just an adjustment.

Your provider builds a personalized plan based on your evaluation. Most plans combine several of the following:

Spinal Adjustments

Gentle, targeted adjustments help restore motion to restricted spinal joints, improve flexibility, and reduce discomfort.

Extremity Adjustments

Care isn’t limited to the spine. Shoulders, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles may also be treated to restore more efficient biomechanics.

Soft Tissue Therapy

Muscle tension, trigger points, and fascial restrictions can be addressed to improve movement and reduce pain.

Corrective Exercise

Stretching and strengthening exercises help correct imbalances, support recovery, and reduce reinjury risk.

Why Patients Choose IPGMN

Care designed to do more than relieve symptoms.

Our chiropractic care is designed to do more than provide short-term relief. By combining hands-on treatment, movement assessment, rehabilitation, and supportive therapies, we help patients improve function, move more efficiently, and stay active long term.

Integrated, not isolated

Adjustments are one piece. Soft tissue work and rehab in the same plan move recovery faster.

Experienced providers

Our team brings decades of combined experience and a long history of integrating care with primary medicine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about chiropractic care

Is chiropractic care safe?

+

Yes. Chiropractic care is one of the safest non-invasive treatments available for musculoskeletal pain. Serious adverse events are rare. Your provider will review your complete health history and tailor the approach to your specific needs before any treatment begins.

Does a chiropractic adjustment hurt?

+

Most patients find adjustments comfortable and often feel immediate relief. Some mild soreness the day after — similar to what you might feel after a new workout — is normal and short-lived. We use the gentlest technique appropriate for your condition.

How many visits will I need?

+

It depends on your condition and goals. Some patients feel better in a few visits, while others benefit from a longer plan that includes rehab and supportive therapies. Your provider will explain a recommended plan after your evaluation.

Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor at IPGMN?

+

No referral is required. You can request an appointment directly through our website or by calling (877) 414-2533.

Does insurance cover chiropractic care?

+

Most major insurance plans cover chiropractic care. We also work with auto/personal injury claims and worker’s compensation. It is always a good idea to personally verify your benefits with your insurance company.
