Dr. Sharena Deonarain is a Doctor of Chiropractic at Integrated Provider Group of Minnesota (IPGMN), seeing patients at the Edina, Shakopee, and Woodbury clinics. With 24 years of experience and a fellowship in medical acupuncture, she brings a uniquely integrated approach to care — one built on collaborative care teams, open communication, and the belief that optimal outcomes happen when all of a patient’s providers are working together.

Dr. Deonarain has particular clinical interests in nerve pain, pelvic pain, headaches, shoulder dysfunction, and correcting underlying biomechanical issues. She is fluent in French, able to communicate in Spanish, and has worked across multiple integrated health care settings combining both chiropractic and acupuncture. She has seen firsthand that this kind of integration doesn’t just improve patient satisfaction — it reduces over-utilization, contains costs, and expedites the healing process.

Outside the clinic, she has run 10 half marathons, competed on a national skating team in Canada and traveled to Europe to compete, and worked in fish and wildlife research in Québec. She is passionate about art, cooking, music, hiking, and finding one thing every day to be grateful for.
