Dr. Douglas Pernula is a Doctor of Chiropractic at Integrated Provider Group of Minnesota (IPGMN), seeing patients at the Edina clinic. In 35 years of practice, he has built a patient-centered approach rooted in a belief he carries into every visit: that natural methods and active patient participation are the foundation of lasting health.
Board-certified as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP®) and additionally trained in acupuncture, Dr. Pernula draws on a broad range of tools — chiropractic care, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercise, and nutritional guidance — to build individualized care plans with each patient. His philosophy is straightforward: improve health through chiropractic, nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle, and help patients understand what they can do to support that progress every day.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Pernula stays active through golf, exercise, and time with his family and grandchildren. He also plays guitar — something he shares with more than one member of the IPGMN team.
