Dr. Dean Bruns is a Doctor of Chiropractic at Integrated Provider Group of Minnesota (IPGMN), seeing patients at both the Coon Rapids and Edina clinics. He came to chiropractic through his own experience — persistent back pain in college that didn’t improve until he saw a chiropractor. That moment opened his eyes to treating the cause, not just the symptoms, and it has guided his approach ever since.

In 33 years of practice, Dr. Bruns has developed particular expertise in headaches, spinal and extremity rehabilitation, spinal stabilization, disc herniations, and acute injury care. His approach is systematic: clearly explain the diagnosis, implement a trial of care that includes patient-specific exercises, and teach patients what to avoid while healing.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Bruns is an avid outdoor enthusiast with a wide range of interests — mountain biking, golf, weather and physical sciences, astronomy, and motorcycles. He has received multiple awards in motocross racing and competitive swimming.
